Almost $500 Raised for Lifehouse Maternity Home by St Leonard Parishioners

The Gift Card booth at this year’s St Leonard Homecoming had a twist. Normally, this event’s proceeds go completely towards the parish budget. This year though, it was decided that one of  our booths would be a partnership with St Frances of Rome, and 100% of the proceeds from that booth would be split between the two parishes and given to a charity of that parish’s choosing. St Leonard’s Parish Council chose Lifehouse Maternity Home as their charity. Our share of the proceeds was $482.22. This money will go towards helping New and expectant mothers. Thank you to both ours and St Frances of Rome’s parishioners who volunteered to work the booth and help with take down and cleanup. Your assistance made this a successful event.
