Children and Youth Bloom in Easter Garden

Images of gardens and the beauty of creation often appear in the Scriptures. In fact, we often talk about the Word of God being “planted” in our minds and hearts where it takes root and comes to fruition. To support this symbol of faith, our First Communion children and our Confirmation youth painted flower pots that were planted with spring flowers and incorporated into the Easter gardens at both parishes. Photos of these young ones who will soon receive these sacraments are also part of the “planting” so if you see them at church, say hello and offer a word of encouragement.
